Having always been terrified of public speaking, I embraced my fear and dived in headfirst with my first ever speaking enagagement at TEDx Bedford in 2013.
Since then, the fear has subsided, and my public speaking skills have been polished!
I speak to small groups, and at events about our experiences Buying Nothing New, and the impact that it has had on our lives, and I aim to inspire other people to make small changes in their own lives, that can make a big difference.
“Your talk today was really inspirational. I’m not sure I could manage a year but I’m definitely going to give a few days a try and see how I get on.”
I also give workshops and talks on other aspects of sustainable living, and practical sessions such as how to start up Repair Cafes.
Some of the highlights of my speaking platform are outline below.
Please get in touch if you’d like me to come and speak to your group, or would like to work with me.
